CONNECTED COMPANIES CAN APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE
Starting Friday (February 26, 2021) affiliated – controlled by other company or owning shares of other company - companies can apply for subsidies to cover quarantine related losses.
„We are starting the last stage of first package to assist businesses. Subsidies of EUR 100 m will be available for businesses. We appreciate that businesses affected very much expect state assistance, so with blessing from European Commisssion in March we do hope to start distributing the second package of subsidies amounting to EUR 70 m“, – says vice minister of economics and innovation Vincas Jurgutis.
Companies which lost 30% or more of monthly turnover will be eligible for subsidy equalling 25% of personal income tax paid in 2019.
Companies working in all sectors, bar agriculture, fisheries, aquaculture and finance, are eligible.
