MOST INNOVATIVE EU FUNDED PROJECTS OF LITHUANIAN COMPANIES NOMINATED FOR EUROPEAN PROJECT AWARDS

Lithuanian Business Support Agency (LVPA) has submitted six projects for annual European project awards Regiostars2021 organized by European Commission. Projects include investment in innovative digital and green technologies, sustainable energy, renewables and reduction of CO2 emissions.

LVPA submitted EU investment projects by Lithuanian companies: UAB GLASS LT, AB Šiaulių energija, AB Panevėžio energija, UAB Optonas, UAB Softneta, UAB Dagmita. Mosto f the projects nominated in Green Europe category.

„Participation in Regiostars awards is an opportunity to represent Lithuania in best European projects awards. The projects are the best and those which came up with most meaningful innovations. While nominating, we pay most attention to innovation, enterprenership and development. We are sure that those projects contribute to growth of Lithuanian economy“, –  says LVPA director Aurimas Želvys.

There are 5 awards categories: SMART Europe, GREEN Europe, FAIR Europe, URBAN Europe and TOPIC OF THE YEAR: Enhancing green mobility in the regions: European Year of Rail 2021.
