TRAINING FOR PROJECT PROMOTERS OF THE NEW OPPORTUNITIES LT MEASURE HAS TAKEN PLACE

On 28 June, remote training for project promoters under the ‘New Opportunities LT’ funding measure took place. The specialists of the Innovation Agency who attended the event explained all aspects of the implementation of EU-funded projects. Dovilė Sabienė, Chief Project Manager of the Innovation Agency’s Business Promotion Projects Division, explained in detail the implementation of project contracts. Gytis Petrukaitis, State Aid Expert in the Projects Expert Division, addressed the assessment of the eligibility for state aid. The Chief Financial Officer of the Project Finance Division talked about the specificities of the submission of payment requests under the ‘New Opportunities LT’ measure. The trade mark ‘Co-created in Lithuania’ of the country of origin, which the Innovation Agency recommends using when attending business exhibitions abroad, was also introduced to the participants. Jolita Mažeikienė, Head of Marketing and Communication Department of the Agency, talked about this trade mark.
The questions from the participants were also answered during the training.
The Innovation Agency evaluated a total of 21 applications for funding under the ‘New Opportunities LT’ measure, of which 20 applications were found eligible. Twenty projects of the following entities were awarded funding under the ‘New Opportunities LT’ measure: the Lithuanian Food Exporters Association, the Vilnius and Panevėžys Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, the Lithuanian Business Confederation, the Lithuanian Engineering and Technology Industry Association, and other business associations and cluster coordinators.
More than 400 domestic companies will be able to benefit from the opportunities to find new export markets under this measure.
